Chicks & Half-Men Dig Megas

So apparently, we've got a fan who works on Two and a Half Men. I've never seen the show, but looks like the kid digs giant robots -  as the Megas poster hanging in his room clearly demonstrates.

Considering that the poster was super-limited edition and only given to cast and crew, I'm curious how they even got a copy. I have no idea how old the ep is, but here's a shout out to whatever set dresser or propmaster decided to sneak in a nod. Megas lives on...

Check out the clip here

I have to say You are one of my heroes im really any one that comes up with a show of an 80 foot mech with a robot for a head is AWESOME! i so wish that you guys had gotten to do a season 3 or even a feature to tie it all up. You think they'll ever let you do any of that stuff now?

I remember from wiki about that and i was looking for that episode just for that poster.

That poster kick ass and too bad i don't have it, yet i don't complain since i have the action figure of Megas and was lucky since it was the last one the site had.

heh, did I see an Evil Con Carne poster too?

I wish I had one of those posters George! That would be killer for my Dorm Room!

Watching you based on awesometasticness!

I loved the hell out of that show, and I wished it was on longer as everybody who Ive talked with agrees that it was quite possibly the best giant robot show since Robotech!

Thanks for the shout-outs, always cool to hear from folks who dug the show.

Being held up to Robotech/Macross is an honor as that was one of our inspirations. The scene with Rick Hunter destroying Minmay's house - yeah that's the origin of Coop's "skill" at breakin' stuff.

If it was up to me, we'd have a few more seasons, follow-through on the video game that was in the works, produce the feature we wrote, and possibly even go live-action. Or at least put out some damn DVDs!

As for moving forward, I don't think it's in the cards, as the network has gone through some changes, and they seem to be headed in a different direction these days.

But I know that CN's new MMORPG has a few Megas cameos if you need to get a fix in.

Other than that, keep eyes peeled for Clone Wars eps where lots of stuff blows up - I'm usually behind those...

Awesome man, was saddened that Megas left Cartoon Network. As far as smashing stuff, I think the scene when Coop was blasting the crap out of the DMV was my favorite!

I plan on converting a 40K dreadnought into Megas, so I'll drop ya a line and letcha know when I finish it.

Bad-ass. Looking forward to seeing your take on a Megas dreadnought. Please post pics!

All of that could've been done? I know you still work on CN with Star Wars still.....damn SOBS

Oh well, Megas did had a good run, many old and new fans dig the show! I watch Megas and when i buy a Slushie it always reminds me of it or when i see the DMV XD.

Hey George, is there any possibility the show could be aired by Williams Street/Adult Swim? The dissolvment of 70/30 Productions (Sealab 2021, Frisky Dingo) is believed to be a cost cutting move by the network, and that they'll be accqiuring more series (Like Clerks: The Animated Series, King of the Hill, The PJ's, and Look Around You). Since it shouldn't cost AS anything to air Megas XLR since it's a CN produced show(though probably will considering CN had to pay WB to air Justice League, and yes that is a true fact), could that be a possibility?

Daft - I think you've got something there. I wouldn't be surprised if CN does do a limited re-run of some of the episodes. When, where and if - those are the questions for the new execs to ponder.

But AS would be a good fit as we wrote the show to appeal to the thirty year old dorks (as well as the kids), so I think it might grab a few ratings there...

I made this mech after seeing Megas XLR for the first time. Thought you would get a kick out of checking it out. Kinda hard to see as my Photo-Fu has since gotten better. But enjoy!
