A few year-end updates...
Online - Megas is now available on iTunes, Zune, Xbox 360, and Roadrunner Online, and has been doing surprisingly well for a show that's been dead for six years now. Unfortunately, according to the emails I've been getting, our fans overseas can't access these outlets yet.
DVDs - No official word, but Cartoon Network has started releasing "Hall of Fame" DVD box sets, starting with "Johnny Bravo," Season One. Can Megas be that far behind?
TV - Due to a recent decline in viewership, Cartoon Network has begun airing older "in-house" series such as "Courage the Cowardly Dog" to a huge ratings bump. May be time to dust off the Big Blue Bot...
News - Toonzone names Megas as one of the Top Five Cartoon Network Originals. Nice.
That's it for 2009 - special thanks to Sean Raymond for the awesome art and big-ups to everyone for your emails and pics.
Happy Holidays and here's to a kick-ass 2010!

I know why they lost viewers, went away from cartoons and to live action crap. Glad to see a release of the Megas XLR dvd coming out soon, have you thought about doing one last show, to kinda end it, showing coop kiva and jamie going off to save the future earth?
Yeah, you should talk to CN about either revising the series with more seasons.
Or, doing a two or three part 'movie' that would involve them saving the future earth.
No DVDs yet, but here's hoping. And CN doesn't seem to be in the proper state of mind to look at revisiting older properties - for better or worse.
Although, I don't know how much worse you could get than teens answering trivia questions on a roller-coaster...
What does CN even air these days? Megas was probably the last thing I enjoyed on there.
I've heard (at some point...I think) that they even cancelled Toonami, which would be a knife right in the face of my childhood.
Anyway. Yes. Megas DVDs would be a dream come true. Thanks for keeping us updated and keeping the fire alive.
@Austin: They cancled both Toonami and Toonami Jetstream.
Honestly, Cartoon Network has been going downhill for awhile. Their current exclusives are mostly medicore at best and they don't air anything good anymore outside of Adult Swim.
Anyway, hopefully Megas XLR will undergo the same revival that Family Guy and Futurama underwent. I can't buy them for Xbox (I don't own one, but you have my word that I'll buy 'em the second they're out on dvd
Thanks for the support guys. Still looks as if the DVDs may be a long way off, if they ever happen. I think Cartoon Network's current management may not even know they own Megas...
Do you have an e-mail address to get ahold of the people that need to be reminded they own Megas? Maybe if a few fans e-mailed them and asked them about it they'd look into it.
I don't have a direct contact there anymore, because frankly, all of the execs who worked with us on Megas have moved on.
But if you're still interested, Cartoon Network's address is 1050 Techwood Drive NW, Atlanta GA 30318. You can also go to their website at www.cartoonnetwork.com and click on the 'Contact Us' link to send an e-mail.
Good luck!
I'm just a kid but I've been in love with megas xlr since it came out and I was extremely dissappointed when it was cancelled. I hope cn wises up and brings it back because there lineup now is terrible.
I'll be looking forward to that. Also were any comics or extra scripts ever created? And if so where could i find them?
Hey Calvin - there were a few comics published under the Cartoon Network "Action Pack" brand, and some are still out there.
Don' think CN will make a turn until a dramatic change goes down...
Thanks I'll try to find those because even without the show i still always loved the plots.
yeah CN broadcasting has been going downhill for awhile now and cancelling toonami just made it worse.
Hopefully something changes and they bring back a few shows from their old lineup.
Thanks George
There's a lot I could say about how I much I love and miss Megas, but it's all been said before and I wouldn't want to waste your time by rehashing all the same old stuff. But anyways! May I ask where you came across that epic crossover image? Also, hope everything's goin' sweet on your end. :D
Hey Kafei,
Thanks for sticking with Megas! Sean Raymond was the artist who did the above mashup. You can find him on Deviant Art, and a lot of other great Megas-inspired art there.
